LED Lighting Case Study |

County Waste & Recycling – NY

To bring in the new year with a bright start, County Waste and Recycling in Albany, NY decided it was time to make the change from dim to light. As one of the largest waste and recycling companies in the Capital Region and a transfer station of 96,000 sq. ft., a well-lit environment was necessary not only for safety but sanitary reasons as well. When they transitioned from 458W and 1084W metal halides over to Big Shine’s LED High Bay Probe, dramatic changes took place. They are now saving over 48,048 KW a year, which in the long run means $89,881 over the next ten years with LED lighting.
